A goalkeeper working hard and dreaming big towards making it as a professional football (soccer) player with the aim of playing in Europe (preferrably in England, France or Belgium) and for the Rwanda national team. U-17 goalkeeper at the Elite Soccer Academy.
Makes sure his defenders get the message when the opposition's on the move.
Many hours of training have made him a force to reckon with in front of goal.
Knows how to read the game well in a match situation.
Joined at the age of 5 as a goalkeeper and won 3 "Juniors' Best Goalkeeper" awards for January-April 2004, June-August 2004 and February-April 2005. Progressed through the various "Planets" teams and represented them at regional level in Kampala, Uganda in 2005 and 2007. Left in 2008.
Shortly played as a left back and a defensive midfielder, a time during which he acquired better ball control and passing skills, which are also essential for a goalkeeper. Returned to goal after the end of the year 2010.
Went back to serious training as a goalkeeper in 2011. Became the third and then second-choice goalkeeper for his school team and represented the school as the first-choice goalkeeper at the Keele International Cup in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England the same year. Continues to represent his school at provincial level.
Returned to Ligi Ndogo in early 2012 for further serious training. Became the first-choice goalkeeper for the U-16 team. Left again in late 2012.
Joined the Elite Soccer Academy in late 2012 for further serious training and match experience. Currently training with the U-17 team as a goalkeeper.
